13th March 2020
In these uncertain times of Coronavirus, we have reviewed our procedures and protocols and have taken additional measures to make our cleaning even more rigorous. We have increased the cleaning of our public areas and have continued the use of hospital-grade disinfectant. We have also increased the deployment of antibacterial hand sanitisers and have provided hand sanitisers at both our bars and ask customers to sanitise their hands when they come in to Oscars. We will continue to adjust food and beverage in accordance with current food safety recommendations. However, we have reviewed our current menu and have decided to revert to a simple pizza menu for the time being. We will continue to offer Sunday lunch as normal and there will also be daily specials, if you don't fancy a pizza. The main aim is to keep things as simple as possible to allow for more stringent cleaning procedures.
We hope that the full menu will be back as soon as possible and many apologies for any inconvenience this may cause! Other than this we are fully open and look forward to welcoming you all at Oscar's x

Great News...We're In!!
14th September 2017
We're delighted that we've been included in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide 2018 Edition. Only 4500 pubs from more than 50000 in the UK are chosen for inclusion and we are grateful to local CAMRA members and our loyal clientele for all the recommendations. As CAMRA's letter says "...it speaks volumes for the consistent quality of your real ale offering and for the high standards of your pub in general."
General Manager, David Kirrage, was very pleased with our inclusion saying "this is the third year in succession our customers, and local CAMRA members, have voted for us and shows that they value the variety and quality of our real ales".
